1000000 points in WestBank?

Wow!, another year, SpeccyTour gives us great suprises. A newbie player like BadBeard is playing really well, but his most impressive game is his last upload on WestBank. I think hi was trying to score more than a million points, but he died at the doors of that hi-score.

In the first picture you can see the last moment of his game. I've seen the recording, but in 10x speed, because it must be very, very long... I don't know how long it is, but it took me almost 2 hours to get 392760 points (26 stages), so getting 989530 points and 70 stages could be 6 hours time long.... Too much concentration is needed to get that score. But I'm sure BadBeard could get the million. Any way, I'd recommend him not to try it until the end of the tournament. He is doing a great tournament, so he should try to beat Alessandro Grussu in the general Leaderboard. Playing WestBank takes many hours and can be a waste of time.

Will someone beat BadBeard when the tournament ends?... Follow our scoreboard for this game:

Hats off to BB for his score in West Bank. I can't spare enough time to even try to beat such a great performance, so I will not challenge him on that ground. However, trying to beat me in the general leaderboard is a different matter altogether ;)
I think BB will be in 2009 what Stack has been in 2008 - ie the newbie of the year, and perhaps the first English player awarded with a silver medal, with Stack following at the third place.
Therefore I think that the era of Spanish hegemony in the Tour is definitely over... or not? :)

Ummh... It's true that Spanish players aren't at the top anymore... may be next year, in the 10th anyversary of the tournament :)
