Do you like proposed games?

We are in the last week for voting (it started at 18th September). Too many registered players haven't voted yet, but it doesn't matter, we'll get our 10 games to play :). Also, you'll probably vote for games that never get selected, but during these weeks you can test some of the games you think will be in the tournament. Try to download some snapshot from WoS and play them!

Now it's a good time to play and warm up for the next weeks, when you'll need to concentrate all your efforts on play, and to not get tired, frustrated and give up...

An advise I give to new players is "don't get frustrated when you see other players' scores". There are people used to play too much, and get great scores in first weeks. The only thing you can do to beat them is to play, if you don't, you never get reach them. Sometimes, although you play and play, you'll never get so far, but at least you tried it and I'm sure you got fun doing it.

Other tactic some people use is to focus in one or two games trying to get the best scores of all of times, like Paul French who likes sports and racing games (like me), and has got a place at our Hall Of Fame with eight mastered games!. Another way to get fun is to invite some friends to play, and make a mini-private compo within yours, so it's up to you how to play.

As said earlier, one of the pleasures of this competition is to learn about games that you did not know they existed. If you don't know very well how to play, you can download other people's recordings and see how they play and learn.

Last year I couldn't send a record for every game. This year, I will - winning in any game is beyond my expectations ;)
